Job Description
Analyst - Tanker Terminals
Leading organisation based in Redhill, Surrey seeks a Tanker Terminals Analyst.
Supporting the Lead Analyst you will be required to input and maintain databases ensuring a high level of quality and accuracy. You will find information by establishing contacts and reviewing information sources.
Main Duties:
To assist in providing a top quality service to company clients
Contribute to the team effort by processing data onto the computer system utilising interactive electronic updating techniques.
Scrutinise a variety of correspondence, publications and other information sources and extract and evaluate relevant data.
Carry out audits on the contents of the database as required.
Actively consider and advise the Lead Analyst on potential new sources of information to improve the quality or accuracy of the database.
Assist the Lead Analyst or other Analysts as required in any special projects.
The Candidate:
A self-motivated, conscientious individual you will have strong analytical skills. With an interest in the Tanker industry (maritime) you will have knowledge of terminals around the world. Ports operational knowledge is vital and sea going experience is advantageous.
