Our client, a vendor to the Investment Banking and Asset Management communities, have a vacancy for an implementation consultant. As a member of the Integration team, the Integration Consultant role works directly with clients and internal business partners to manage the project life cycle and coordinate the implementation of vendor solutions. Expectations include an ability to build rapport and develop relationships with internal and external partners, manage client expectations, utilize strong project management skills to manage activities/resources and ensure targeted completion dates are achieved. In addition, the Integration Consultant is responsible for recommending process improvement opportunities w/in the Integration team. The primary responsibilities of the position include serving as the business analyst/project manager for each client engagement, managing project scope and timeline to ensure all deliverables meet established quality standards and client expectations.
The successful candidate will require a in-depth understanding of the Institutional Trade Flow and Trade Processing business eg STP and current securities industry initiatives highly desirable, experience with business/application messaging systems and protocols (eg FIX, SWIFT) and experience working for a vendor or in a external client facing capacity within a bank would be highly desirable. You must also be able to demonstrate project management and business analysis skills in a delivery focused environment, have extensive client facing experience with proven ability to effectively manage client expectations and concerns, and possess the ability to communicate information/issues clearly and succinctly to technical/non-technical colleagues and clients. You will also have strong verbal and written communication skills, working knowledge of PC hardware/software and operating systems and being fluent (written and verbal) in a 2nd European language (Italian, Spanish, German, French) would be a plus.
