Job Description

The role of the Technology Relationship Manager (TRM) is to build alignment between the client\'s technology agenda and WSS technology to ensure that all technology deliverables are managed successfully.

Department Description

The Technology Relationship Manager Group is a key part of Client Technology Management which combines all the client facing groups of WSS Technology.  In addition to Technology Relationship Management there are Sales, Onboarding, Product Management, and Business Analysis/Development for Client Facing Products.  The Group comprises 23 staff based principally in the London & Bournemouth Locations.  Technology Relationship Management (TRM) comprises of 11 officers dedicated to managing the technology needs of 30 clients in the WSS EMEA region which represent around 75% of total revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• The TRM responsibilities for this opening are focused on maintaining client satisfaction through timely technology deliverables and oversight of day to day production for one of our key Investment Operations Services (IOS) Clients.
• The TRM will set up and lead Technology oversight meetings with the client where technology deliverables against pre agreed SLAs will be reviewed on a monthly basis.
• The TRM will be accountable for delivering upgrades of JPM applications, ensuring we are competitive in our technology offering and be able to project manage new client requests from inception to implementation.  To achieve this the TRM will be supported by interface specialists and product managers within CTM.

Job Description

• The TRM will be expected to support the internal (IOS) and external client technology requirements of this complex and demanding client.  The TRM is expected to understand how the data flows between our organisations and the downstream impact of any late deliveries or changes to the operating models.
• The TRM will work alongside more senior TRMs as well as with Client Service and Relationship Managers to manage client technology expectations, using MIS, Change Control processes and Service Reviews.
• The TRM will be working in a team environment where flexibility and creativity are key: Our clients are constantly pushing the boundaries with their technology requirements.

Key Skills:

• Strong Client Management and Presentation skills (oral and written) required
• Able to engage and drive through change with a \"virtual team\" of partners in operations and technology
• Ability to deliver results in a pressurised environment, with the ability to prioritise varied client demands
• Displaying a broad interest in applicable technologies, e.g. Web based Client applications, Swift, InvestOne, Core Processing systems and data delivery mechanisms,
• Demonstrate self motivation and adaptability to understand and manage client expectations within a changing environment

Required Experience:

• Previous experience within an Investment Operations environment
• Experience of working directly with clients
• Project Management
• Experience of leading client facing meetings and workshops

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of WSS client facing technology.
• High level understanding of Investment Operations Technology infrastructure
