This new role reporting to the Internal Audit Manager will involve you in various ad hoc projects for a number of subsidiary companies improving the efficiency and effectiveness of systems within these businesses.
You will be expected to review internal systems and controls and make recommendations on them and how these can be improved in addition to driving through best practice. The role will also involve providing senior management with a independent view of risk management and control within the business. The audits will focus on areas of strengths as well as any un-managed risks.
Ideally you will be a qualified Accountant (ACA) seeking to make your first move from practice. You will be expected to be proactive, with effective communication skills and above average Excel expertise. This opportunity represents an excellent opportunity for candidates to broaden their knowledge and experience and ultimately move into a line role.
